Billie is a wonderfully trainable girl. I bred her myself, therefore, so all her titles mean even more to me. She is so easy to live with and eager to please, it’s a joy to teach her new things. She has done extremely well in the show ring earning her shown championship with three FIVE point wins. She has a flying water entry and loves to retrieve and track. I plan on training her for her TDX title as well as more advanced field titles as well. As you will have read, I get a huge amount of joy out of putting titles on my dogs—none of them are as important to me as the bond we have in and out of the ring. Without these goldens being inside with me, sleeping on the couch and the bed, it just wouldn’t be the same!! - the day to day stuff—that’s what’s important!! I am especially excited to say that in 2005 we went to Toronto the GRCC National where she made a cut in the breed ring, AND won the gun dog class at both the Canadian National and the associated Specialty—we then went to New Brunswick in 2006 and repeated these wins. In 2009 Billie won the Best Gun Dog at the GRCBC Specialty—what an amazing girl she is. Billie is now retired from motherhood and is now the queen at our house, being our oldest dog. |
